Michael Fayad Car Accident: Head coach of Arctic Foxes Hockey Association 14U-4 team died in Washington County

Michael Fayad Car Accident – On the evening of October 25th, Mike Fayad tragically lost his life in a multi-vehicle accident while driving home with his wife from dinner.

Mike, 51, was a dedicated husband, father, brother, son, and friend, cherished by many. He leaves behind his wife, Deanna, and their three beloved children, Brayden, Kyla, and Luka.

Known for his dedication to family and community, Mike was the head coach of the Arctic Foxes Hockey Association’s 14U-4 team, where he coached for over ten years and also served as the fundraising chair for the Arctic Foxes Board of Directors. His commitment to the team was evident in his enthusiasm, from creating energizing game videos to instilling a love for hockey in his players.

The tragic accident occurred around 11 p.m. near the intersection of Washington Road and Demar Boulevard in North Strabane Township. Investigators report that Mike’s car was at a red light, waiting to turn left onto Demar Boulevard, when another vehicle sped across lanes and collided with his vehicle, which then struck a third car.

The Washington County Coroner confirmed that Mike was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. The accident prompted a temporary road closure while the North Strabane Township Police Department initiated an investigation.

In response to this heartbreaking loss, the Arctic Foxes Organization has organized a GoFundMe to support Mike’s family with funeral and medical expenses.
