Michael Mcdonald Allentown PA Death:- Museum of Broadway costume curator Michael Mcdonald has died. He was announced dead though social media publications.

Michael Mcdonald of New York, New York passed away on Wednesday night. No cause of death was reported. Thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.

Museum of Broadway wrote on Facebook:
“The Museum of Broadway is deeply saddened to share that our costume and prop co-curator and beloved friend, Michael McDonald, passed away Wednesday night.

Michael received a Tony and Drama Desk nomination for his costumes for the 2009 HAIR revival, a few of which we are honored to display at the museum. He worked extensively in regional theatres across the country and was the Associate Costume Master at the The Public Theater in NYC for 6 seasons. We will miss him dearly.”

Who was Michael Mcdonald?
Michael McDonald is a versatile costume designer with an extensive background in theater and the arts. His notable credits include designing costumes for ‘La Cage Aux Folles’ at Goodspeed Musicals and ‘Evita’ at Bucks County Playhouse.

He has also worked as a costumer at the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, New York City Center, and ZACH Theatre, and served as a costume curator at the Museum of Broadway.

McDonald’s experience extends to designing costumes for productions at 59E59 Theaters, the Al Hirschfeld Theatre, and Mason Gross School of the Arts. His previous roles include designing for ‘Hair’ at the Al Hirschfeld Theater and contributing to several esteemed theaters such as the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, Seattle Rep, American Repertory Theater, and George Street Playhouse.

He also held the position of Assistant Costume Master at The Public Theater and currently works at the Tisch Department of Drama. McDonald’s academic background includes studies at Muhlenberg College, and he is a proud alumnus of William Allen Senior High School. He is originally from Allentown, Pennsylvania, and currently resides in New York, New York.
