Michael Anthony Cole Jr., a 16-year-old Sidney Lanier High School student, was found dead after going missing on Thursday. Five days after he went missing, his body was finally found today.
Suspects arrested:
Two teens were charged for the missing 16-year-old, Michael Anthony Cole Jr.’s death. Two of Cole’s friends, Jones Nedvin Maynard and Nicholas Treyvon were charged in connection with the death of Cole. Some reports says that Cole’s body was found in car trunk.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency issued an emergency missing person alert for Michael on Monday. The authorities have issued an urgent plea for public assistance in locating 16 year old teen, who was reported missing from Montgomery.
His disappearance last noted around 8:30 pm on Thursday, January 25, 2023, has raised significant concerns regarding his welfare. According to authorities, he was last seen in the vicinity of Southmont Drive in Montgomery.

Authorities initiated investigations upon Michael’s disappearance as efforts to reach or locate him proved unsuccessful.
Central Alabama Crime Stoppers announced Monday night that three Montgomery city members – Marche Johnson (District 3), Franetta Delayne Riley (District 4), and Oronde Mitchell (District 6) – are offering a $5,000 reward for any information leading to Michael’s return. They announced that the reward will be given through Crime Stoppers.
Michael Anthony Cole, Jr., 16, is described by law enforcement as a Black male with tattoos on both arms and pierced ears. He was wearing black skinny jeans, white Jordan 11s, and a black Tulones sweater with the word “Tulones” written in white.
His mom, Felder reports that her son did not come home on Thursday night. She claimed that it’s not like him and expressed concern for her son’s safety.
Felder, family, and friends conducted searches in the vicinity of Southmont Drive, the last place Cole was seen, throughout the weekend.
According to her, her son attends Carver High School in the eleventh grade, enjoys basketball and football, and is polite and respectful.
Unfortunately, Michael, the subject of an Emergency Missing Child Alert from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency as of Monday has been found dead.
