Nick Minske Minnesota Accident: East Grand Forks father of 5 died after June 15 motorcycle incident

Nick Minske Minnesota Accident – Nicholas “Nick” Minske from a East Grand Forks, Minnesota, and a well-known local racer has sadly passed away. The news was shared in a social media post that reads:

“Bemidji Speedway would like to send our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Nick Minske. Nick is a Late Model driver from East Grand Forks, MN who was involved in a serious accident this last weekend, tomorrow morning he is being taken of life support and his organs will be donated.”

What happened to Nick Minske?
A car and a motorcycle collided close to Grand Forks, injuring four persons, one of them critically. The incident happened on Saturday, June 15, at around 8:30 p.m., at the intersection of County Road 5 and 32nd Avenue South, some four miles west of town.

The incident included a 2009 Pontiac Vibe driven by an unidentified juvenile and a 2021 Honda motorbike driven by Nicholas Minske, 35, of East Grand Forks, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

The motorcycle was travelling south on Grand Forks County Road 5, according to the NDHP report. At the stop sign, the Pontiac decelerated and proceeded through the intersection with 32nd Avenue South and County Road 5. The Pontiac was damaged on the passenger side by the motorcycle.

After suffering severe injuries, the motorcycle’s driver was transported to Altru Hospital for medical attention. To receive medical attention for their wounds, the Pontiac’s occupants were also transported to Altru Hospital. The Highway Patrol reports that the injuries sustained by the occupants of the vehicle were not life-threatening. There were no injuries to the driver.

Who was Nick Minske?
Nicholas “Nick” Minske was a Late Model driver from East Grand Forks, Minnesota and the son of Stuart from Stuart Towing. He is the most kindest, caring, helpful young man you will ever meet. When family or friends called him and needed his assistance he was always there to lend a helping hand. He is an amazing person. Nick was a loving husband to his wife Rachel and five children.

Honour Walk for Nick Minske
Nick organs will be donated to those in need. There will be an honour walk for Nick Minske at 9:45 am on Friday, June 21st before he is taken down to the OR in preparation for donating his organs, the family announced. T

he family is asking family and friends to join them at Altru on the 5th Floor in the waiting room. Arrive by 9:30 am and it could be delayed so may not start right at that time but 9:45 is the ETA as of now.
