Who was Noah Curtis?
Born in New Bedford to Scott M. Greany and Marie E. (Lambalot) Greany, Noah grew up in Mattapoisett, a town that shaped his formative years and where he cultivated lifelong friendships and cherished memories.
He later moved to Boston to pursue higher education and a burgeoning career, carrying with him the love and support of his close-knit family and friends.
Noah’s academic and athletic accomplishments began at Tabor Academy, where he stood out as a leader both in the classroom and on the sports fields. A natural scholar-athlete, he balanced his studies and athletic commitments with grace, earning the respect and admiration of peers and mentors alike.
His kindness, humility, and infectious enthusiasm inspired those around him, leaving a lasting impression that went beyond his achievements. After graduating from Tabor, Noah pursued his passion for science, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology.
His thirst for knowledge didn’t stop there, as he went on to achieve a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics Enterprise at Northeastern University. Noah’s academic journey reflected his deep intellectual curiosity and unwavering commitment to contributing to scientific advancements.
His enthusiasm for his field was evident in his dedication to his projects and his excitement about their potential impact on the future. Professionally, Noah excelled at Hayden Consulting Group in Boston, where his talent and drive earned him a recent promotion to Consultant.
He thrived in his role, making meaningful contributions to his team and building strong relationships with colleagues. Noah’s life was enriched by the deep bonds he shared with his family and friends.
He was a beloved son, brother, cousin, and friend whose warmth, sense of humor, and generosity made him a joy to be around. His charisma and kindness endeared him to all, and he was the friend everyone turned to for support, laughter, and meaningful connection. To know Noah was to love him.
Noah also shared a special bond with his girlfriend, Emma Zupo of Boston and Long Island, NY. Together, they explored their mutual love for food and travel, embarking on adventures to destinations such as the Grand Canyon, Italy, and Iceland. Their shared experiences were filled with joy, discovery, and a profound appreciation for life.
Noah is survived by his parents, his sister Grace of Mattapoisett, his maternal grandparents Paul and Nancy (Corcoran) Lambalot, his paternal grandparents Gardner and Carol (Holden) Greany, and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins who cherished him deeply.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, January 17th, from 3-7 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home For Funerals, with a Funeral Service on Saturday, January 18th, at 10 AM at Wickenden Chapel, Tabor Academy. Burial will follow at Cushing Cemetery.
