NUS Suicide: Student at National University of Singapore died at Prince George’s Pk

NUS Suicide: Police and fire service were called to a National University of Singapore campus following a tragic incident on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.

Authorities say a person was found dead at a student housing area belonging to the National University of Singapore.

The tragic incident left the entire community devastated. According to investigations, law enforcement agencies were called to Prince George’s Park located in the eastern end of the Singapore University.

A heavy police presence was at the eastern end of the Kent Ridge Campus following the tragic incident. According to reports, one person tragically leaped to their death after leaving a suicide note.

Police said the individual involved was a student of the National University of Singapore located at 21 Lower Kent Ridge Rd, Singapore. Their identity was not immediately released.

The school community has requested prayers on behalf of the deceased student’s family. The school also announced that resources will be available for anyone who is affected by the unexpected event.
