Grace Miller Fort Lauderdale Death– Grace Livingston Miller, a beloved daughter, sister, friend, and colleague, tragically passed away on March 1, 2024, at the age of 24.
Her untimely death has left a deep void in the hearts of all who knew her. Born on April 1, 1999, in Hartford, Connecticut, Grace was a vibrant force of positivity, whose infectious enthusiasm and kind heart touched everyone she encountered.
Grace grew up surrounded by family in a tight-knit household with her three sisters, known fondly as “the Miller Girls.” Her upbringing was one of love, laughter, and support, fostering the values of kindness and selflessness that would define her life.
She attended Watkinson School and Kingswood Oxford School, where she was known for her bright smile, sense of humor, and her ability to make friends wherever she went.
After high school, Grace pursued a degree in marketing and video production at High Point University in North Carolina. There, she further developed her passion for creativity and leadership, becoming an active member of the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority, where she earned the affectionate nickname “Mama Nut.”
Her college years were marked by a strong sense of community and friendship, which she carried into her post-graduation life. Grace’s professional journey took her from a senior content producer role at the investment research startup Cents in Miami to a sales position with Sunreef Yachts in Fort Lauderdale, where she combined her love for the ocean with her career.
Having spent many summers at Groton Long Point in Connecticut, Grace became an avid boater, swimmer, and paddleboarder. She was a beloved member of the GLP Yacht Club, where she not only enjoyed her time on the water but also gave back by teaching tennis and forming lasting bonds with her fellow club members.
Grace’s greatest legacy, however, lies in the countless acts of kindness she performed for those she loved. She was always there for her friends and family, offering a helping hand or a listening ear, no matter the distance or the time commitment. Whether it was supporting a friend in need or organizing a fun day out, Grace’s spirit of generosity and love shone brightly.
Her passing has left a profound impact on all who knew her. Grace was more than just a friend, a colleague, or a family member; she was a beacon of light whose energy and positivity made the world a better place. In honoring her memory, Grace’s family has requested that donations be made to the Amazing Grace Foundation in lieu of flowers, continuing the spirit of giving that defined her life.
Grace’s calling hours will be held on Friday, March 8, from 4:00-7:00 pm at The Ahern Funeral Home in Hartford, and her memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 9, at the First Church of West Hartford. Grace’s bright blue eyes, radiant smile, and unwavering kindness will never be forgotten.
