Officer Taylor Bristow Death – A sheriff’s officer in west Georgia was shot and died a few days later while carrying out a search warrant.
Following the incident on Tuesday, Carroll County Sheriff’s Office investigator Taylor Bristow passed away on Friday from his wounds. While helping the Georgia Bureau of Investigation with a warrant in Carrollton, Bristow suffered serious injuries.
Bristow was a member of the team carrying out a search warrant connected to child exploitation and computer crimes. He had been admitted to Grady Hospital in Atlanta. According to the GBI, Christopher Bly, the suspect, shot himself and Bristow with a revolver from inside his house before being declared dead inside.
After a search, computer devices containing materials on child sexual abuse were seized. Governor Brian Kemp of Georgia sent his sympathies and called on the public to stand by the Bristow family and police enforcement in this trying time.
AFFECTIVE SUCCESS FOR Christopher Bly?
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation attests that no law enforcement official has discharged a firearm. Christopher Bly, the suspect, was the one who pulled the trigger on himself. Investigator Bristow was hit in the face by the same bullet, according to sources.
According to the GBI, they arrived at the residence on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. in relation to an ongoing case involving Bly and child pornography and exploitation. When law enforcement knocked on his door, he answered it, then quickly went back inside the house.
He was followed inside by investigator Bristow and other deputies. The FBI claimed that at some point, Bly took out a pistol, shot himself, and the bullet hit Investigator Bristow in the face once more.
Bly passed away. Piloted to Grady, investigator Bristow is still in a medically induced coma. A short while ago, his wife released a statement saying, “We see everything and we feel everything.” The affection, supplications, contemplations, and felicitations. We are appreciating every small and large thing and waging the good fight. There is notification given to it. My words will never be able to fully express how much I adore each and every one of you.
