Palisades Mall Suicide Investigation: Jumper died after leaping from parking garage at Palisades Center in West Nyack, NY
Shoppers at the Palisades Center in West Nyack, NY, were evacuated this afternoon after a male leaped from the parking lot.
Clarkstown Police Department and Clarkstown Fire Department responded to a report of a jumper at the mall located at 1000 Palisades Center Dr, West Nyack, NY.
Arriving officers located the subject lying in the pool of his blood. Officers carried out CPR on the man but he died at the scene. Law enforcement agencies cordoned off the parking lot following the death investigation.

The Palisades Mall, one of the largest shopping centers in the area, was busy with shoppers at the time. Witnesses reported a large presence of police and emergency services shortly after the incident.
