Riley Krick Death – Riley Krick has passed away suddenly. The Delaware Valley High School was confirmed dead on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 following a statement which was released by Dr. Brian Blaum, Superintendent of the Delaware Valley School District. Riley died tragically leaving the many student and staffs devastated by the tragic loss. He will always be missed by many in DVHS community, including many outside the school who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Delaware Valley School District has sympathized with the family of Riley and has informed parents about the additional counselors which have been made available throughout the week incase students may need to speak to someone.

“If you feel that your child is having difficulty understanding this tragedy, we encourage you to discuss their thoughts and feelings with them…” – Dr. Brian Blaum

Delaware Valley is a school system that is recognized both at the state and national levels, and it serves around 4,400 students amongst seven different schools. Pike County, Pennsylvania is home to a total of five educational institutions: four elementary schools, two middle schools, and one comprehensive high school. Because Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey all intersect here along the Delaware River, our region is commonly referred to as the Tri-State Region.
