What was Ryan Realbuto’s cause of death?
The death of a man from Monroe County in the nation’s capital on Thursday night is being looked into by police. Ryan Realbuto, 23, of Pittsford, was discovered with gunshot wounds on South Dakota Avenue in northeastern Washington, D.C., according to the Metropolitan Police Department. He was located there at around 10 p.m. After being brought to the hospital, he passed away from his wounds.
The shooting, according to the police, was caused by an apparent robbery. Police are offering a $25,000 prize to anyone who gives information that results in an arrest; no arrests have been made. It is requested that anyone with information contact the police department at (202) 727-9099.
Who was Ryan Realbuto?
In May, Ryan Realbuto received his degree from St. Bonaventure University. Ryan spent his first year of service as a volunteer with the Capuchin Franciscan Volunteer Corps, where he provided job coaching to underprivileged high school students. He was industrious, kind, perceptive, and intelligent. He was incredibly motivated to study. Both SBU and him were in love. For his voluntary placement, DBCR was given his assignment.
Ryan has a deep devotion to the DBCR community. In addition to supervising all students who performed remote or hybrid work from the Silver Spring office, he assisted in preparing the ninth-grade students at the Leadership Academy for the workforce. Many of the ninth-graders knew Ryan as someone who was always willing to lend a helping hand when needed.

Ryan was strongly committed to the DBCR community.
He worked with our 9th grade students at our Leadership Academy to help prepare them to enter the workforce, and was also responsible for overseeing all students who worked virtual or hybrid jobs from our Silver Spring office. Ryan was known by many of our 9th grade students as someone who was willing to help with any challenges. He will be deeply missed.
