Sam Priest Death – Eastern Kentucky University Alumnus Sam Priest of Louisville has sadly passed away. He died after being report missing on 10th February 2024. The circumstances surrounding the actual cause of Sam Priest’s death has not been revealed at this time.

Growing up near Bowman Field in Louisville, Samuel Priest was immersed in the world of aviation from an early age. His childhood memories are filled with the sights and sounds of planes coming and going, as he would often pedal his bicycle to the airport just to watch them in action.

Meanwhile, his father’s involvement with UPS World Port at what is now Muhammad Ali International Airport provided further inspiration, as he would eagerly accompany his dad into the cockpits of large cargo planes across town. Samuel Priest’s affinity for aviation was undeniable.

With a degree in aviation administration from EKU, he set out to pursue his dream within the industry. Although Eastern’s aviation program was smaller at the time he enrolled, it laid the groundwork for his future success in the field.

Armed with a master’s degree in aeronautical science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, as well as his pilot’s license and accreditation from the American Association of Airport Executives, Mr. Priest embarked on a remarkable career trajectory. He began as an aviation operations representative at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in 2012, steadily climbing the ranks to eventually serve as airfield construction manager.

During his tenure at Hartsfield-Jackson, Mr. Priest was entrusted with overseeing significant projects, including a pavement rehabilitation endeavor for the longest runway at the world’s busiest airport. His leadership and expertise were instrumental in ensuring the success and efficiency of such critical undertakings.

Today, Samuel Priest finds himself fulfilling his lifelong passion as the acting operations manager at King County International Airport-Boeing Field in Seattle. His journey from a wide-eyed aviation enthusiast to a seasoned professional in airport operations is a testament to his dedication, perseverance, and unwavering commitment to excellence within the industry.
