Saramae Radel Death – Saramae Radel, a senior at Selinsgrove Area High School and a gifted field hockey player, regrettably passed away as a result of an accident.
She was an extraordinary midfielder who wore the number 12 jersey and was recognized for her athleticism and leadership.
Saramae’s accomplishments were underscored by the numerous awards she received for her contributions to the sport during her high school and undergraduate years.
She accomplished a number of remarkable feats, including being named to the All-State team and making a substantial contribution to the success of her teams. Her sportsmanship, perseverance, and aptitude are widely recognized.
She has started every game since 2019 and has accomplished remarkable metrics, such as multiple goals, assists, and minutes played. Her record encompasses each of these accomplishments.
Saramae’s dedication to distinction was not restricted to athletics; it also extended to academia, where she achieved exceptional success as a PSAC scholar-athlete and as a member of the German National Honors Society. She was also an active member of the Pennsylvania Power Club and USA Field Hockey Futures, both of which were indicative of her passion for the sport.
Her colleagues, family, and community have all been profoundly affected by her sudden death. Saramae’s legacy as a student-athlete and friend will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
