Shamar Webb Death – Shamar Webb, a resident of Laurel, Maryland, and sophomore at Mount St. Mary’s University has sadly passed away. Shamar Webb was announced dead in a statement released on social media by the Mount St. Mary’s University which claimed that he passed away at home near the end of winter break. He was a participant in the Criminal Justice Student Association and weightlifting club.

What was Shamar Webb’s cause of death?
The circumstances surrounding Shamar Webb’s cause of death were not made public at the time of this report. According to a statement released by Laurel Upward Sports, Shamar Webb passed away in his bed at home on Thursday morning. He was to go back to college that day but for current unknown reasons he did not wake up.

Who was Shamar Webb?
Shamar Webb was a native of Laurel, Maryland, and a graduate of St. Vincent Pallotti High School Class of 2022. He was a sophomore and a criminal justice major at Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmittsburg. Shamar was an active member of the Mount community, playing on the club men’s soccer team and participating in the Criminal Justice Student Association and weightlifting club.

Shamar had played in all 3 of Laurel Upward Sports programs from the early days all the way through 8th grade. He moved on and played high-school soccer at Pallotti High in Laurel and got baptized at FBCL in 2018. Being in his sophomore year, he also enjoyed playing soccer for Mount Saint. Mary’s University.

Mount St. Mary’s University Statement

The Mount community is mourning the loss of sophomore Shamar Webb, a criminal justice major who unexpectedly passed away at home near the end of winter break. Shamar was an active member of the Mount community, playing on the club men’s soccer team and participating in the Criminal Justice Student Association and weightlifting club.

Shamar’s family and friends will celebrate his life next Friday, with a viewing at 10 a.m. and service at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Laurel. A Mount remembrance event is also being planned. Please pray for the repose of Shamar’s soul and comfort for his family and friends.
