This was not what I was supposed to wake up to. Just chopped it up with you at the coffee spot man. You were getting on me about staying out of trouble and staying in that gym boxing and telling me how you were proud of how far I had come. Investing in me and being my first boxing sponsor. Can’t question God but I just don’t understand why. Rest easy brotha I love your life 💔 Sdot Kin.
The Denver Sheriff’s Department said on Wednesday that a deputy sheriff had been taken into custody on suspicion of trying to persuade a public servant, fleeing the scene of an accident, and other offenses. Court documents state that Jeremiah Espinoza-Young, 30, was taken into custody on January 1. According to the department, he is accused of reckless driving, leaving the scene after hitting unattended property, trying to influence a public official, and making false reports to the police.
Espinoza-Young was charged on Wednesday with trying to influence a public servant and fleeing the scene of an accident after hitting unattended property, according to online court documents. The Adams County Sheriff’s Office made the arrest, according to Aurora police spokesperson Matthew Longshore on Wednesday, despite the Denver Sheriff’s Department’s identification of the arresting agency as the Aurora Police Department.
According to the department, Espinoza-Young was placed on investigatory leave on January 3. The Public Integrity Division launched an investigation and the Office of the Independent Monitor in Denver was informed of the circumstances. In 2016, Espinoza-Young was appointed to the Denver County Jail after being employed as a deputy sheriff.
