Shuntaria Virgous Death, 27-year-old woman died in Frayser shooting incident
According to the family, they are convinced that they know the individual responsible.
Police in Frayser are currently investigating three separate shootings that occurred on the same day.
In one of these incidents, the cousin of the victim reached out to Memorialdesk.
While choosing to remain anonymous, the family member disclosed that Shuntaria Virgous had tragically lost her life, leaving behind two children.
The grieving family is now advocating for justice.
The relative expressed the family’s pain, stating, “We’re hurting right now, we’re grieving, and Shuntaria was loved by so many people.”
According to the Memphis Police Department, they responded to a scene in the 1400 block of Alta Vista at 4:50 a.m. on Saturday, where they discovered a woman who was later pronounced deceased.

The family has identified the victim as the 27-year-old Shuntaria Virgous.
The children of Virgous were both below the age of 7.
