Susan Marinelli Connecticut Death – On Thursday, June 13, 2024, Susan Marinelli, 57, of Avon, previously of Canton and Torrington, went away quietly with her loved ones by her side.
Susan Marinelli was born in Torrington. Her parents were Rosemary (Fiore) Marinelli and the late Michael Angelo Marinelli Jr. She earned a B.S. in business administration and management from Post University.
Susan spent the last nine years as an employee of Orafol Americas in Avon and was a devoted human resources specialist. She worked for a long time at The Torrington Company and Wittmann Battenfeld before taking on her position there.
Susan was well-known for her infectious enthusiasm, independence, good humor, and steadfast commitment to her kids. Her two gorgeous kids, Kaylee and Kendra, were her greatest delights in life.
Susan enjoyed hosting guests at her stunning house, hanging out with them, and visiting Connecticut’s wineries. She loved to travel, spending time in the mountains, lounging on the beach, and often visiting her daughters in North Carolina.
In addition to her nephews, Susan is survived by her brother, Scott Marinelli of Torrington, Connecticut; sister, Patricia (Marinelli) Gladding of Avon, Connecticut; and her two daughters, Kaylee and Kendra Jacques of Summerville, South Carolina. David Marinelli, her brother, passed away before her.
