Taylor Bookout St Charles MO Death, Paramedic at St. Charles County Ambulance District died of cancer

Taylor Bookout Death – Taylor Bookout, a resident of St. Charles, Missouri, and a paramedic with the St. Charles County Ambulance District has sadly passed away. He was announced dead in a statement on social media that reads:

“It is with profound sadness that St. Charles County Ambulance District announces the active-duty death of Paramedic Taylor Bookout, a seven-year veteran of the District. Taylor passed on September 8 surrounded by family after a heroic multi-year battle with cancer.”

What was Taylor Bookout’s cause of death?
According to a fundraising page created by Taylor’s friend Harlen Rainey in 2022, Taylor was diagnosed with cancer in 2021 and he went through treatment and thought it was all clear and unfortunately it came back.

The GoFundMe page created to raise $5,000 raised the sum of $3,674. He was a great friend, brother, son, paramedic, and husband. Taylor has shown time and time again he is willing to sacrifice his own time and energy for others.

Taylor’s journey with SCCAD began in the Training Academy, where he was a student in the EMT and Paramedic programs. He joined the team in 2017, serving first on the Surge Division and more recently B-Platoon, where his work in the field was recognized with a Clinical Commendation.

Taylor served many in his role as Paramedic, but also held two other very special roles: husband and father. His wife Bre and son Oakley where his world and he loved and cherished them dearly.
