Northmont City high school teacher, Thomas “Tom” Slentz has passed away, he was a Physical Education teacher and a member of the Northmont community since childhood. Tom was also a Northmont City high school graduate.
According to the statement released by the district, “please join us in extending heartfelt condolences to Mr. Slentz’s family and friends during this difficult time.
We will share information regarding memorial services as it becomes available. If students or staff need support during this period, counseling services will be available through the school. Please contact the guidance office for assistance.”
In the city of Clayton, Ohio, there is a public high school known as Northmont High School. According to the Northmont City School District, it is the primary high school in the district.
The school takes in around 1700 kids from the areas that are located in the northern part of Montgomery County. These communities include Union, Clayton Township, Englewood, Phillipsburg, and Clayton Township.
