Tyler Persun Mount Pleasant SC Death – Tyler K. Persun, a beloved husband, father, and coach, tragically passed away on January 10, 2025, after a brief illness.

He was just 35 years old. A native of Mount Joy, Pennsylvania, Tyler had made Mount Pleasant his home, where he built a life filled with love, laughter, and faith.

Tyler’s legacy is one of profound faith, compassion, and unwavering devotion to his family. His wife, Brielle, and their infant son, Colby Thomas, were the center of his world.

Tyler’s marriage to Brielle in November 2023 marked the beginning of a new chapter in his life, one filled with joy and the shared excitement of becoming parents to their son just nine months later.

Tyler’s commitment to others was evident not only in his personal life but also in his professional life. As a coach for Elite Baseball and the York College of Pennsylvania Baseball team, Tyler mentored young athletes, teaching them the importance of teamwork, discipline, and character. His impact as a coach extended beyond the diamond, as he inspired those around him to lead with integrity and kindness.

Tyler’s passing has left a profound sadness in the hearts of all who knew him. His parents, Scott and Debra Persun, his sister, Nicole, and his extended family are mourning the loss of a man who brought light into their lives. He is also survived by his in-laws, Jerry and Teri Colby, and his brother-in-law, Ryan Colby.

The community will gather to honor Tyler’s life with two services: one on January 15, 2025, in Mount Pleasant at Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church and another on January 18, 2025, in Mount Joy, PA. The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Colby Thomas College Fund.

Tyler’s life may have been cut short, but his legacy will live on through his family, friends, and the many lives he touched throughout his journey.
