There are no words that can adequately express the profound sense of loss that we are experiencing since this loss is incalculable. Virgil was more than just a musician; he was the whole essence of our band: the heart and soul.
His love for music shone through on every single note that he played, every single phrase that he sang, and every single moment that we spent together on stage. The songs we were playing were brought to life by his voice and guitar, and his enthusiasm boosted everyone who was around him.
More than just a member of the band, he was a brother to each and every one of us. The only way to love Virgil was to know him. He was able to connect with people in a way that was not only through his music but also through his honest and generous personalities.
