White Rock Accident Today – This afternoon, Friday, August 23, at White Rock, there was a tragic traffic crash that is being looked into by the Forensic Crash Unit.
Emergency services are called to reports of a southbound crash involving an Isuzu D-max pickup and Yamaha Yzf-r3 motorcycle on the Centenary Highway at approximately 3 p.m.
The cyclist, a Ripley man of 23 years old, died on the spot. The only person inside the Isuzu was a 49-year-old man from Thornlands who was driving. He was not physically hurt.
The crash’s circumstances are being looked into by the Forensic Crash Unit, who are pleading with anyone who has information—including dash cam footage—to come forward.
