William Smith Death – William Smith, a well-known science and math instructor from South Africa, died quietly at home in Perth, Australia, surrounded by his loved ones.

Jessica Smith (Penfold), his daughter, confirmed the information and praised her father’s bravery and composure in the face of hardship.

Smith fought advanced, incurable disease, and he confronted his final moments with incredible strength and serenity. According to his relatives, he was a man who made a significant contribution to education.

“William will be deeply missed, but his legacy will endure through the lives he touched and the difference he made,” stated Smith’s family. Smith attended Union High School in Graaff-Reinet, Eastern Cape, to finish his secondary school. After that, he continued his study at Rhodes University, where he graduated with honors in chemistry and physics as a Bachelor of Science.

At the University of KwaZulu-Natal, he continued his education and earned a master’s degree.
William Smith made difficult high school courses understandable for generations of South African pupils with his straightforward but successful teaching methods.

He created video courses that gave step-by-step answers to arithmetic problems in algebra, trigonometry, physics, chemistry, biology, and English using felt-tip pens and a whiteboard.
