Ybf Dolph Death – A tragic shooting on Thursday night in the Fountain Heights neighborhood of North Birmingham claimed the life of 27-year-old Kejuan Gibson, also known by the moniker “Ybf Dolph.”
Police say the incident occurred during an argument on a sidewalk in the 1400 block of 12th Avenue North.
from Birmingham’s North Precinct responded to several 911 calls reporting gunfire at approximately 8:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Gibson unresponsive on the sidewalk.
Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service provided immediate aid at the scene before rushing Gibson to UAB Hospital. Despite their efforts, Gibson was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival.
Authorities are working to piece together the events leading up to the shooting, but a motive has not yet been determined. No arrests have been made, and investigators are appealing to the public for information.
The Fountain Heights community has expressed shock and grief over the incident. Residents describe Gibson as a familiar face in the area and have urged anyone with knowledge of the events to come forward.
