Antoine Dorsey Pittsburgh Death, 19-year-old boy killed in shooting during baby shower at Worship and Community Center in Fairywood
A baby shower in Pittsburgh’s Fairywood neighborhood took a tragic turn on Saturday evening.
Gunfire erupted at the Westside Salvation Army community center located at 1831 Broadhead Fording Road, resulting in one fatality and two individuals sustaining injuries.
Pittsburgh Public Safety reported that one male was declared deceased at the scene, and another was hospitalized in critical condition.
A third individual was found in the 3000 block of Glen Mawr Street in Sheraden and transported to a hospital in stable condition.
The deceased man was identified as 19-year-old Antoine Dorsey of Pittsburgh by medical examiners.
Approximately six or seven shots were fired around 6:15 p.m., and the circumstances leading to the gunfire remain unknown.
City homicide detectives are actively investigating the incident.
