A graduate of Gosnell High School, she was well-loved in her hometown of Blytheville, Arkansas. Ella’s passion for helping others was evident in her academic choices and the kindness she extended to those around her.
The community of Blytheville, Arkansas, is in mourning following the devastating loss of Dr. Thomas Gall, his wife Rachel, and their daughter Ella in a fatal car accident in Caruthersville, Missouri. The accident occurred on the night of April 2, 2025, leaving their 16-year-old son, Thomas Jr., as the sole surviving member of the immediate family.
Dr. Gall, a respected veterinarian and a former LSU classmate of Dr. Weiner, was known for his dedication to his profession and his compassionate care for animals. His sudden passing has deeply affected his colleagues, friends, and the veterinary community.
Ella’s friends and loved ones remember her as a compassionate, energetic, and driven individual who made a lasting impact on everyone she met. She had a heart full of warmth and always looked out for those in need. Her loss is deeply felt by her university peers, high school friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Angie Gall shared “My heart is so heavy….Our family endured a horrific loss yesterday evening when our cousin Tommy, his wife Rachel, and his daughter Ella were in a car accident. They all 3 passed away leaving behind my 15 year old cousin, their son and brother, Thomas. Please pray for Thomas and my Aunt Mary and cousin Robert as they navigate this awful tragedy.”

In the wake of this tragedy, friends and loved ones have come together to support young Thomas Jr. through various initiatives. Photographer David Meza, who had a close connection with Ella Gall, has announced a Cap & Gown photography fundraiser to honor her memory. He recalled how Ella was one of his biggest supporters and is offering $75 photography sessions, with all proceeds going to Thomas Jr.’s support.
Lauren Hines, a lifelong friend of Ella, has also started a GoFundMe campaign titled The Gall Family. In her heartfelt message, she described the Galls as her second family, expressing disbelief over their tragic passing. The fundraiser aims to cover funeral expenses and provide financial assistance to Thomas Jr. as he navigates this heartbreaking loss.
