Sean Johnson Obituary – The Long Island community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Sean Johnson, a 27-year-old West Babylon resident who tragically lost his life in a car accident on Sunday, May 11, 2025.

His sudden passing has left family, friends, and loved ones in deep grief, reflecting on the vibrant life of a young man who brought joy, kindness, and strength to those around him.

Born and raised in West Babylon, Sean graduated from West Babylon High School and recently began a promising career in automotive mechanics. His hands-on skill, dedication to craftsmanship, and natural curiosity made him stand out. Sean approached life with generosity, humility, and a steady presence that left lasting impressions everywhere he went.

He is survived by his loving parents, Eugene and Carol Johnson; his brother, Aidan Johnson; his sister, Kristin Ness; and brother-in-law, James Ness. Sean was a devoted uncle to Michael, James, and Harley. He also shared a cherished bond with his partner, Kim Lauer. His extended family—including aunts, uncles, and cousins—along with many lifelong friends, remember him for his laughter, loyalty, and compassion.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 14, at Claude R. Boyd–Spencer Funeral Home, 448 West Main Street, Babylon, NY. Visitation hours are scheduled for Tuesday, May 13, from 2:00–4:30 p.m. and 7:00–9:30 p.m., offering an opportunity for the community to come together in remembrance.

In honor of Sean’s deep-rooted values of mentorship and service, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to BSA Troop 175 in West Babylon. This meaningful tribute reflects his spirit of giving and his lasting influence on younger generations.
