An accident that took place on Monday, January 1, 2024, just before one o’clock in the morning resulted in the death of a senior at Walker High School. It took place around 12:50 in the morning, when the 17-year-old was stopped at a signal in Denham Springs, Louisiana, as she was exiting the exit ramp for westbound Interstate 12 at Range Avenue. Concurrently, a motorist traveling north on Range Avenue collided with the vehicle on the driver’s side of the accident.
