Funeral – Clifford “Cliff” Duane Bryant Obituary, Statesville NC resident died at 64

Clifford “Cliff” Duane Bryant, 64, of Statesville, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 9, 2024, at the Gordon Hospice House.

Known for his strength, kindness, and deep love for his family, Cliff leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion.

Born in Pulaski County, Virginia, on June 14, 1960, Cliff was the son of the late Franklin Willard Bryant and Laura Duncan Bryant. Growing up, he was known for his strength, both in character and in stature, and formed lasting relationships with those around him.

His family meant the world to him, and he was especially close to his wife, Wanda, and his daughter, Tyler, whom he regarded as his best friends.

Cliff is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Wanda Hager Bryant, and his daughter, Tyler Bryant. He also leaves behind his stepson, Roscoe Hager, Jr. (Jamie), and a large, cherished family of grandchildren: Laura Hager, Roscoe Hager III, James Hager, Harlan Hager, Joseph Hager, Waylan Hager, Wesley Bryant, Kambria Graham, Layla Harris, and Addison Buckland. His beloved sister, Jean Bryant, and his best friend and cousin, Frankie Ridpath, also remain to honor his memory.

In addition to his parents, Cliff was preceded in death by his brother, Willard Bryant, with whom he shared a close bond. His passing marks a sorrowful chapter in the lives of his family and loved ones, who will forever remember him.

Funeral Services
A funeral service to celebrate Cliff’s life will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 2:00 pm, at Troutman Funeral Home. Following the service, burial will take place at St. Martin’s Cemetery. The family will welcome visitors on Friday, December 13, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Troutman Funeral Home to share memories and offer support.
