Jamaree Moore, Chambersburg man died in motorcycle crash

Jamaree Moore Death – A Chambersburg man found deceased after a fatal crash in Franklin County on Friday has been identified.

According to a press release from Pennsylvania State Police – Chambersburg, 21-year-old motorcyclist Jamaree Moore was traveling northbound on Wayne Avenue (State Route 316) in the right curb lane at its intersection with South 2nd Street.

Another vehicle, a Mitsubishi Eclipse, was traveling the same route in front of Moore. A third vehicle, a Chevrolet Silverado, was traveling southbound in the right curb lane at the same intersection.

The release says Moore’s motorcycle approached the rear end of the Mitsubishi at a high speed and rear-ended it. This caused the motorcycle to cross over the double yellow line into the southbound travel lane and strike the front of the Silverado traveling in the opposite direction.

Upon examination by the Franklin County Coroner, Moore was pronounced deceased at the scene, and the operators of the other two vehicles were uninjured, per the release.
