John Alexiou Obituary – The family, acquaintances, and colleagues of John Alexiou, a director at M&M Food Market and former executive of Checkout 51, have been profoundly affected by his sudden death.

On December 8, 2023, John tragically lost his life in a car accident while traveling with his wife and their dog, at the age of 53.

How the accident happened
John and his wife were returning from their second residence to their Oakville home when the accident occurred on Highway 10 near Flesherton, Ontario.

A vehicle that was attempting to pass on the highway collided head-on with John’s vehicle, which led to his early demise. The emotional toll on his family has been immense, despite the fact that his wife and dog survived the collision.

John is survived by his wife, their dog, and two sons, who are currently struggling to cope with the indescribable loss of their father and husband.
