NYPD Officer Suicide – The Post has heard that an off-duty police officer appears to have shot himself to death inside an upper Manhattan apartment on Tuesday afternoon, and that he was found in a pool of blood.
The anonymous NYPD officer, who was assigned to the Hamilton Heights 30th Precinct, reportedly stopped his car near an apartment complex on West 186th Street in Fort George before going inside.
Sources claim that when he hadn’t heard from the police officer for some time, his colleague went to the scene. When he got there, he looked through a window and saw the officer laying on the ground.
