Patricia Dixon Augusta ME Obituary, Death:- Patricia Dickson affectionately known to many as Patricia Dixon has sadly passed away.
She was announced dead on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, in Augusta, Maine. Patricia Dixon formerly of Paris, Tennessee died at the age of 58. No cause of death has been reported.
Who was Patricia Dixon?
She was born in Paris, Tennessee, on November 12, 1967, to the late John Reddick and Anna Sturdivant. Frank and Daisy Dickson, who are both deceased, adopted her.
She had completed her studies at Covington High School. Before reorganizing her career path and joining the Army for ten years, she continued her study for a year at the University of Tennessee at Martin.
She served in the service for 21 years in all, switching branches and spending an extra 11 years in the Air Force.Patricia left the Air Force in retirement. Before she eventually retired in July 2023, she spent the following 11 years working for the military as a civilian in logistics management.
Survived by
Patricia is survived by her sister, Dweellia Henslee of Paris, Tenn.; devoted brothers, Bobby Jones of Louisville, Ky., George Sturdivant of Nashville, Tenn., Randall Dickson and Thomas (Diane) Edwards of Covington, Tenn.; her aunt, Ruthie Porter of Paris, Tenn.; and a host of other family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by adopted partners: brothers Isaiah Sturdivant and Lorenzo Sturdivant and sister Jackie Strickland.
Obituary
Her funeral is scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, 2024, at Trinity Funeral Home in Paris, Tenn. Visitation will precede the service from noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
